The Social Academy of Sciences was established in 1994. Until the end of 2011, it functioned under the name Social Academy of Entrepreneurship and Management. It is a nationwide university. It conducts first-cycle and single master's degree programs, doctoral seminars, postgraduate and MBA studies. Classes are held in full-time, part-time and online systems. In total, it offers education in 25 majors.

The academy already has more than 11,000 students, 60 percent of whom are women. Foreigners account for 15.5 percent of students, coming mainly from Ukraine and Belarus, but also, for example, from Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and India.   

More than 3,000 students left the university building last year.

In the 2023/2024 academic year, more than 4 thousand male and female students began their studies, including 764 foreigners.  

The academy employs 144 full-time academics, 44 percent of whom are women. There are also many practitioners working with the academy, who implement workshops and laboratories that prepare students for practical tasks in their future careers.
