The International Academy of Applied Sciences in Lomza (formerly the Higher School of Agribusiness in Lomza) is a non-state university. It educates in the following majors: agriculture, internal security, nursing, construction, commodity science, logistics

The academy has more than 1,000 students, 60 percent of whom are women, and 4.4 percent are foreigners.   

The academy building had 261 students leave last year. In the 2023/2024 academic year, 425 male and female students began their studies, including 24 foreigners.  

The university employs 43 full-time academic staff, 44 percent of whom are women.
