Description: Andrzej Frycz Modrzewski Krakow Academy is the largest non-public university in Malopolska. The academy offers bachelor's and master's degrees, as well as uniform master's studies, doctoral seminars and postgraduate studies. Education is provided in dozens of faculties and specializations ranging from law, through administration, criminology and re-socialization, international relations, tourism and recreation, psychology, pedagogy, English philology, architecture, management, finance and accounting, computer science and econometrics, journalism and social communication, organization of film and television production, acting, internal security, national security, to medical and other medical faculties: nursing, physiotherapy, emergency medicine, dietetics and cosmetology. The university runs the University of the Third Age at its branch in Tychy and, as of 2019, the Krakow Senior Academy. The university currently has nearly 8,500 students, 67 percent of whom are women, and 15.6 percent are foreigners. Last year, 1,728 graduates left the university building. In the 2023/2024 academic year, 2,654 male and female students began their studies, including 445 foreigners. The university employs 408 full-time academic staff, almost 58 percent of whom are women.
