Description: The university was founded in 1999 under the name of the Pomeranian University of Tourism and Hotel Management. Its founder was the Kolfer Multibranch Company, in existence since 1989, whose activities were related to tourism and information technology. It is currently based in 12 cities. Its educational offer consists of 37 majors and about 100 specialties. It also conducts postgraduate studies in about 80 specialties. Also operating at the university are, among others: European Center, Media Culture Center, In-Lab, Student Business Zone, Academic Kindergarten, University Nursery, Third Age University Network, School of Foreign Languages and Specialized Translation Center. The university currently has more than 4,000 students, 64 percent of whom are women, and 22.1 percent are foreigners. 944 graduates left the university building last year. In the 2023/2024 academic year, 1,438 male and female students began their studies, including 234 foreigners. The university employs 127 academic teachers, 60 percent of whom are women.
