The Higher School of Tourism and Hotel Management in Gdansk was established in 1996.

The university in its structure has one faculty of Tourism and Recreation, where it conducts: 3-year studies of the first degree (bachelor's), 2-year studies of the second degree (master's).

In addition, the university provides education in postgraduate studies and specialized courses.

There are currently 269 students at the university, 61.7 percent of whom are women, and 54.3 percent are foreigners.

Eighty-seven graduates left the university building last year. In the 2023/2024 academic year, 104 male and female students began their studies, including 48 foreigners.

The university employs 5 academic teachers, 80 percent of whom are women.
