The Higher School of Health in Gdansk was established in 1999 as the Higher School of Management in Gdansk. 

Recruitment is currently conducted for studies in the form of stationary (full-time) studies for the following majors: Dietetics (undergraduate and postgraduate studies), Cosmetology (undergraduate and postgraduate studies), Public Health (undergraduate studies), Physiotherapy (single master's studies), Psychology (single master's studies).

The university currently has more than 2.5 students, 82.2 percent of whom are women, and 2.6 percent are foreigners.

715 graduates left the university building last year. In the 2023/2024 academic year, 1,057 male and female students began their studies, including 30 foreigners. 

The university employs 39 academic teachers, 79.5 percent of whom are women.
