WSB Merito University in Torun has been in existence since 1998. The university consists of three faculties: the Faculty of Finance and Management in Toruń, the Faculty of Finance and Management in Bydgoszcz, and the Faculty of Applied Studies in Lodz.

The university offers bachelor's degree, second degree, postgraduate and MBA programs. 

The university currently has more than 11,700 students, 59 percent of whom are women, and 4 percent are foreigners.

Last year, 2112 graduates left the university building. In the 2023/2024 academic year, 4,360 male and female students began their studies, including 117 foreigners. 

The university employs 107 academic teachers, 43.9 percent of whom are women.
