Description: Krakow University of Technology - a public technical university, educating engineering personnel for more than 75 years. Currently, the university educates students in full-time and part-time studies of the first and second degree, as well as doctoral and postgraduate studies. The Polytechnic's educational offer includes more than 30 majors in Polish. In addition, some majors are also taught in English, and two majors are taught in Ukrainian. Such a large choice means a variety of intellectual pursuits and solving challenging tasks under the guidance of qualified academic staff. In recent years, a number of new majors have appeared in the university's offerings, the introduction of which not only corresponds to market needs, but is also a clear response to important social issues. This was the case with the direction of clean air engineering, whose graduates will face the problem of air quality in Malopolska. The polytechnic currently has more than 11,700 students, 37.5 percent of whom are women, and 4.1 percent are foreigners. Almost 3.3 thousand graduates left the university building last year. In the 2023/2024 academic year, more than 3.2 thousand male and female students began their studies, including 90 foreigners. The university employs 1019 full-time academic staff, almost 40 percent of whom are women. Many research and teaching staff are outstanding specialists, participating in intercollegiate and international research teams. Among the graduates of the Cracow University of Technology is Ryszard Flore, an entrepreneur and founder of Fakro, a company that specializes in the manufacture of roof windows.
