Description: Lublin University of Technology - a state technical university founded in 1953 in Lublin. It is one of five state universities in Lublin, but the only one with a technical profile. The university offers education programs at the bachelor's, engineering, master's and doctoral levels. Since its establishment, Lublin University of Technology has been educating engineering personnel and conducting scientific research, mainly for the needs of the Lublin region. The main directions of scientific research currently carried out at the university are related to the development of structures and technologies, environmental protection and material and energy conservation. Lublin University of Technology performs expert opinions and conducts consulting activities. The university provides the opportunity to undertake first- and second-level studies in twenty-four fields of study conducted within six faculties. The polytechnic currently has more than 6,700 students, 27.4 percent of whom are women, and 13.2 percent are foreigners. Almost 2 thousand graduates left the university building last year. In the 2023/2024 academic year, more than 2 thousand male and female students began their studies, including 212 foreigners. The university employs 582 full-time academic staff, 31.4 percent of whom are women.
