Description: Kazimierz Pulaski University of Radom, founded in Radom in 1950 under the name NOT Engineering School. In 1965-1974, it functioned successively as Kielce-Radom Evening School of Engineering and Kielce-Radom Higher School of Engineering. In 1974, Swietokrzyska Polytechnic was established on the basis of Kielce-Radom Higher School of Engineering. In 1978, the Higher School of Engineering in Radom was separated from the structures of Kielce-Radom Polytechnic, which was named after Kazimierz Pulaski a year later. It currently educates more than 30 majors in various scientific fields: technical, economic, pedagogical, artistic, and humanities and health sciences. It has an 8-faculty structure - 3 technical faculties: Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Faculty of Transportation, Electrical Engineering and Computer Science and Faculty of Applied Chemistry, and 5 non-technical faculties: Faculty of Philology and Pedagogy, Faculty of Law and Administration, Faculty of Economics and Finance, Faculty of Arts, and Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences. The university currently has more than 4,400 students, 53 percent of whom are women, and 5.9 percent are foreigners. 876 graduates left the university building last year. In the 2023/2024 academic year, 2315 male and female students, including 215 foreigners, began their studies. The university employs 299 academics, 45.5 percent of whom are women.
