Józef Piłsudski Academy of Physical Education in Warsaw - established in 1929 as the Central Institute of Physical Education in Warsaw and transformed into a military academic school in 1938, since 1935 it has borne the name of Józef Piłsudski.

Studies are currently held at 3 faculties and 8 majors: physical education, sports, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, nursing, tourism and recreation, cosmetology, personal trainer.

The university has branches in Biała Podlaska.

The university currently has more than 4,000 students, 43 percent of whom are women, and 2.7 percent are foreigners.

1,000 graduates left the university building last year. In the 2023/2024 academic year, 1,889 male and female students began their studies, including 51 foreigners.
