The Jaroslaw Dabrowski Military Academy of Technology in Warsaw is the most prestigious military-civilian public academic university in Poland, which has been in existence since 1951. It is the only university in Poland that educates for a single master's degree in 11 polytechnic majors - for candidates for professional soldiers. In addition, for civilians, it provides full-time and part-time studies of the first degree (engineering/bachelor's), second degree (master's) in more than 20 fields of study, doctoral education in the Doctoral School, postgraduate studies and other forms of education. The Academy's facilities are also home to the Military Computing High School.

The academy currently has nearly 4,900 students, 29.2 percent of whom are women, and 1.4 percent are foreigners.

Almost 1.2 thousand graduates left the university building last year. In the 2023/2024 academic year, more than 2.2 thousand male and female students began their studies, including 47 foreigners. 

The university employs 903 full-time academic staff, 20.7 percent of whom are women.
