Lomza Academy - the university was established on July 1, 2004, on the basis of a Council of Ministers decree of June 22, 2004, as the State Higher School of Computer Science and Entrepreneurship in Lomza.

The university offers first-cycle, second-cycle, as well as unified master's degree studies implemented in four faculties, attractive and opening many professional career paths.

There are currently 1.7 thousand students at the university, 62.9 percent of whom are women, and 4.8 percent are foreigners.

544 graduates left the university building last year. In the 2023/2024 academic year, 749 male and female students began their studies, including 31 foreigners.

The university employs 118 academic teachers, 57.6 percent of whom are women.
