Zamosc Academy is a public university operating in Zamosc since September 1, 2021, established by the Law of July 8, 2021. Its base is the Szymon Szymonowic State University in Zamosc, which operated in the city from 2005 to 2021. 

Currently, the Zamosc Academy offers bachelor's, engineering, master's (second-degree) and postgraduate studies. The university has adopted a departmental structure with three faculties: the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities; the Faculty of Health Sciences; and the Faculty of Technology and Information Technology.

There are currently 1,037 students at the university, 71.2 percent of whom are women, and 2.8 percent are foreigners.

340 graduates left the university building last year. In the 2023/2024 academic year, 581 male and female students began their studies, including 17 foreigners. 

The university employs 95 academic teachers, 51.6 percent of whom are women.
